I am writing from the Market America International Convention in Greensboro, NC where a few hours ago, Loren Ridinger and Andrew Weissman introduced the newest products in the Lumière de Vie skincare line. Lumière de Vie launched earlier this year with 5 treatments which we have already covered in great detail. I will follow-up starting next week with more thorough coverage of these new products. Lumière de Vie Skincare Regimen

People are constantly asking me how to use the products in the Lumière de Vie skin care line. Specifically, they want to know which products to use, when to use them, an in what order? Fortunately for all of us, we have a Lumière de Vie skincare regimen. You can read all the steps here. You can also download and print the beautiful handout from the link at the bottom of this post.

Step 1 – Cleanse

Cleanse with your favorite facial cleanser. First, wet your hands and face. Next, in circular motions, apply the cleanser to the face. Rinse with water. Repeat morning and night. On August 9th, we announced Lumière de Vie Facial Cleanser . Prior to that, our favorite cleanser was Skintelligence® Hydra Derm Deep Cleansing Emulsion.

Step 2 – Tone

Toning is necessary for people with oily skin. Toning your skin helps to balance the moisture in the skin, making skin less oily. It is also considered a second step in the cleansing process. Use your favorite toner morning and night. We also announced Lumière de Vie Toner on August 9th. Prior to that, our recommendation for the Lumière de Vie skin care regimen was Skintelligence® pH Skin Normalizer.

Step 3 – Detoxify

Apply 3 Lumière de Vie Volcanic Exfoliating Mask to the face using clean hands, ensuring a thin layer covers the face and avoiding the eye area. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes. Repeat 1 to 2 times per week to detoxify the skin.

Steps 4-5 – Treat

In any skincare regimen, the order of products is dependent on the texture of the product — apply the lightest textured products first and end with the heaviest. Apply treatments using a light patting motion, ensuring the entire face has been covered.

First, use 4 Lumière de Vie Illuminating Fading Fluid (a.m. or p.m.), as it is light in texture.

Next, use 5 Lumière de Vie Serum Concentrate (a.m. and p.m.) as it has a heavier texture than the Lumière de Vie Illuminating Fading Fluid.

Steps 6-7 – Moisturize

Apply 6 Lumière de Vie Intense Rejuvenation Crème to the face, avoiding the eye area. Repeat morning and night.

Apply 7 Lumière de Vie Eye Balm to the under-eye area using the included metal-tipped applicator. Using the applicator, lightly dab a small amount of Lumière de Vie Eye Balm underneath the eyes, rotating the applicator while moving from the inside corner of the eye to the outside. The applicator, along with the motion of the application, will help to increase the circulation under the eyes, decreasing the look of puffiness and under-eye circles. Repeat morning and night.
